Boris Birmaher, M.D.

Dr. Birmaher's work has focused on early-onset mood and anxiety disorders. He has expertise in psychopharmacological treatment of psychiatric disorders in children and adolescents, and has directed related biological, phenomenological, and pharmacologic clinical trials. In addition, he has designed an anxiety-disorder screening instrument and participated in the creation of a psychiatric interview for children and adolescents, and a life-event inventory.
