Marschall Runge, MD, PhD

Dr. Runge leads the North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Institute, part of a 55-member consortium of medical research institutions dedicated to improving biomedical research. An international leader in cardiovascular disease, Dr. Runge has edited several major medical textbooks.

The North Carolina Translational and Clinical Sciences (NC TraCS) Instituteis the integrated home of the Clinical and Translational Science Awards (CTSA) program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. It is supported through the NIH's National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS) grant ULTR000083.
